Saudi Arabia Removes Multiple Hadiths Against Jews From Textbooks

Saudi Arabia has removed several hadith references involving Jews, Judaism and other religions from its textbooks.
Among the removed material is a hadith about the end of times that describes Muslims fighting and killing Jews.
The narration previously appeared in Saudi educational material but has now been removed from the curriculum.
Hadith About Jews Being Destined for Hell Removed
Another change appears in a Grade 7 Social Studies textbook.
The latest edition no longer includes a hadith that had been interpreted as implying that Jews were destined for Hell.
Its removal marks another change in how Saudi textbooks present religious material concerning Jewish people.
Textbook Removes Reference to Judaism as a False Religion
Saudi Arabia has also changed a Grade 7 Life and Family Skills textbook.
The book previously quoted a hadith describing Judaism, Christianity and Zoroastrianism as false religions.
That hadith is no longer included in the revised textbook.
The change therefore extends beyond references specifically concerning Jews. It also removes language relating to Christians and Zoroastrians.
