Gold Declines Sharply in Pakistan
Gold prices in Pakistan reported a sharp decline following a similar decrease in international gold prices.
The price of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs. 3,500 to Rs. 483,036 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 10 gram gold also decreased by Rs. 3,001 to Rs. 414,125.
Gold had lost Rs. 600 per tola on Tuesday, reaching Rs. 486,536.
In the international market, gold decreased by $35 to $4,605 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices increased today. Rates closed at Rs. 7,329 per tola after gaining Rs. 50 on Thursday.
