South Air is set to launch three new domestic routes, expanding its flight operations between Peshawar and Quetta, Peshawar and Lahore, and Islamabad and Multan.

The airline has received approval to operate flights on the Peshawar-Quetta and Peshawar-Lahore routes, while it has also announced its Islamabad-Multan service. The new routes will provide passengers with additional domestic flight options and improve air connectivity between major cities.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi welcomed the approval of the Peshawar routes and thanked the Pakistan Aviation Authority for approving the operations. He also thanked South Air for launching the Peshawar-Quetta and Peshawar-Lahore services following his request.

Kundi said the new flights would make air travel more convenient for residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and could help promote regional connectivity, trade and tourism.

He also said South Air planned to launch flights from Dera Ismail Khan and Chitral airports in the near future. According to Kundi, the airline has assured him that operations from both airports will begin after it inducts new aircraft into its fleet.
