The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore will conduct the admissions through its centralized online application system for private medical and dental colleges in Punjab.
Online applications for MBBS admissions opened on October 23, 2026, and candidates can apply until November 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
The university will begin accepting BDS applications on December 18, 2026, with the deadline set for January 1, 2027.
How Many MBBS and BDS Seats Are Available
The University College of Medicine and Dentistry has announced 150 MBBS seats for its 26th batch and 75 BDS seats for its 27th batch.
According to the college’s official admissions page, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has allocated 127 open-merit and 23 overseas seats for MBBS.
For BDS, the college has 64 open-merit and 11 overseas seats.
The college has reserved approximately 15 percent of its total seats for foreign and overseas applicants under the applicable admission categories.
Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements for their respective categories before applying.
Who Can Apply for MBBS and BDS Admissions
The university has announced separate admission requirements for local and overseas candidates.
Local applicants must have completed FSc Pre-Medical or an equivalent qualification with at least 60 percent marks.
Candidates applying for MBBS must have secured at least 55 percent marks in MDCAT, while those seeking BDS admission need at least 50 percent marks.
Applicants must also meet the requirements specified in the admission policy issued by the Punjab government and implemented through UHS.
Overseas and foreign candidates must meet the relevant academic and testing requirements for their reserved seats.
How Will Admission Merit Be Calculated?
UHS will calculate admission merit using marks obtained in Matriculation, FSc Pre-Medical, or equivalent examinations, and MDCAT.
The university has assigned 10 percent weightage to Matriculation or SSC results and 40 percent to FSc or HSSC Pre-Medical marks.
The remaining 50 percent will come from the MDCAT score.
The merit formula applies to applicants seeking admission through the relevant centralized admission process.
Meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee admission, as the college will allocate seats according to merit, applicable quotas, and available vacancies.
