We expect Apple to drop new iPads sometime this year, and now that it’s October, that means sometime in the next three months. But if you’re not interested in paying the premium for a new model, shopping this lingering Prime Day sale is a smart move.

“Even though its tech is basic compared to the advanced iPad Air and Pro, it’s great for someone who wants a portable screen for streaming, playing games, and reading,” explained Mangino. She also mentions that it’s a great option for kids.
