Punjab to File FIRs Over Dengue Larvae Breeding
The Faisalabad district administration has directed the Health and Population Department to register FIRs against people responsible for outdoor sites where dengue larvae are found.
The move is part of intensified efforts to control the spread of dengue and improve compliance with preventive measures across the district.
According to the Health and Population Department, legal action will be initiated when dengue larvae are detected and recovered from outdoor locations.
Officials said dengue larvae have been found and destroyed at around 35,000 locations across Faisalabad during the current year.
Authorities have also urged residents to strictly follow dengue prevention standard operating procedures and take steps to prevent mosquito breeding around homes and other outdoor areas.
Citizens have been advised to ensure that conditions favorable for mosquito breeding are not allowed to develop, as the district administration continues to strengthen dengue prevention measures across Faisalabad.
