Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced that the provincial government will extend the contracts of School Teaching Interns (STIs) and College Teaching Interns (CTIs) after completing their performance evaluations.
In a statement, the minister said the government was currently reviewing the performance of interns and would announce the contract extensions soon.
Rana Sikandar Hayat said more than 90 percent of STIs and CTIs had performed well during their appointments, praising their efforts and contribution to the education sector.
He also commended the interns for their work, saying they had delivered strong performances in schools and colleges across Punjab.
The minister did not specify the duration of the contract extension or announce a timeline for issuing the official notification. Further details are expected once the evaluation process is completed.
