Punjab’s government schools have made daily 10-minute quick tests compulsory for students.
According to official sources, monthly comprehensive assessments have also been made mandatory in government schools, while schools have been directed to maintain proper records of both daily quick tests and monthly assessment results.
The marks obtained by each student in monthly tests and school-based assessments will be entered on the portal. Officials will also review students’ academic performance records during inspections.
Chief Executive Officers have been instructed to ensure implementation of the daily quick tests and monthly assessments in schools.
Officials said the monthly assessments will help identify students’ academic weaknesses, while the assessment register will be closely reviewed during visits by the School Education Secretary.
