The Punjab government will distribute Honahar Scholarships and laptops to students across all nine divisions of the province during October and November, Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced.
In a social media post, Hayat said Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz would distribute Honahar Scholarships and laptops to students from Sahiwal, Okara and Pakpattan districts on October 15 at the University of Sahiwal. He added that the government would hold similar ceremonies across all nine divisions within the next few weeks.
The upcoming event will bring together students from three districts for the distribution of scholarships and laptops under the provincial government’s education initiatives. The program will then extend to the remaining divisions as the government conducts further ceremonies throughout October and November.
Hayat described the announcement as good news for Punjab’s students and expressed hope that the government would complete the ceremonies across all nine divisions within the announced timeframe.
The minister did not provide further details about the number of scholarships or laptops that officials will distribute at each ceremony.
