Oppo Enco X4 Earbuds Promise 2x Noise Cancellation, 53-Hour Battery
Oppo has launched the Enco X4 wireless earbuds, featuring lossless audio support, improved active noise cancellation (ANC), and up to 53 hours of battery life with the charging case.
The new earbuds compete with Apple’s AirPods Pro and introduce Oppo’s first implementation of the LHDC Lossless audio codec.
The Enco X4 is priced at approximately $211 and will go on sale on October 29, 2026.
Design and Audio
The Oppo Enco X4 features a dual-driver audio system consisting of an 11mm TRF woofer and a 6mm planar tweeter, each with a dedicated digital-to-analog converter (DAC).
Oppo has partnered with Dynaudio to tune five sound profiles, including Pure Vocals and Thundering Bass.
The earbuds support a frequency response range of 10Hz to 40kHz and carry Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification. The Enco X4 also introduces LHDC Lossless audio support, delivering up to 24-bit/48kHz audio at a bitrate of 2.3Mbps.
However, full wireless lossless audio requires a compatible Oppo Find X smartphone, particularly the Find X10 series. The feature is reportedly disabled by default.
Other devices can use AAC, SBC, LHDC, or LC3 codecs. The earbuds come in two colors: Glacier White and Aurora Violet.
The earbuds also support spatial audio with head tracking across Android, iOS, and Windows devices without the same hardware restriction.
Noise Cancellation
Oppo claims the Enco X4 offers a 100% improvement in overall active noise cancellation performance compared with the Enco X3.
The earbuds use a 6nm neural processing unit (NPU) to manage adaptive noise cancellation in real time and improve the reduction of speech-related background noise.
They also feature Conversation Awareness, which automatically lowers music volume and activates transparency mode when the user starts speaking.
Battery and Connectivity
The Oppo Enco X4 offers up to 13 hours of playback on the earbuds alone and up to 53 hours with the charging case when ANC is disabled.
With ANC enabled, battery life drops to approximately six hours on the earbuds and 26 hours with the case.
These figures are based on AAC playback at 50% volume.
Each earbud weighs approximately 5.6 grams.
The earbuds support Bluetooth 6.1 and dual-device pairing, allowing users to connect to two devices simultaneously.
AI Features
Oppo has included AI Clear Calling to improve voice clarity during calls.
The Enco X4 also supports AI Live Translation, although the complete translation experience is restricted to select Oppo and OnePlus smartphones running ColorOS 17 or later.
While spatial audio works across multiple operating systems, some advanced features require compatible Oppo devices.
Price and Availability
The Oppo Enco X4 is priced at approximately $211 and will be available starting October 29, 2026.
