Lahore Board Student Secures Third Position After Recheck

A rechecking request in Lahore’s matric examination results has changed a student’s position.

Aafia Naeem, a student of a private educational institution in Model Town, initially scored 1,187 marks in the Lahore Board result. However, after her paper was rechecked, her marks increased by two.

According to the Lahore Board, two marks in one part of the exam paper had remained unchecked. The issue was identified after the rechecking request was filed.

After the board reviewed the case, Aafia Naeem’s total marks were raised to 1,189.

With 1,189 marks, she secured third position in the Lahore Board’s matric examinations.

The board will also hold a ceremony to honour the student for her achievement.
