Kia Confirms New Car Launch in Pakistan
Kia Motors Pakistan has teased an upcoming vehicle ahead of the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2026, fueling speculation that the company could bring the updated Kia Stonic to the local market.
In a Facebook poster, Kia shows a car driving through a modern architectural setting alongside the message, “The next standard won’t follow the old one.” The poster also confirms that Kia will unveil the vehicle on September 18, 2026.
Kia has not revealed the vehicle’s name or any technical details yet. However, the teaser has renewed speculation about the Stonic, particularly after Kia recently discontinued the existing Stonic in Pakistan.
The company also accompanied the poster with the caption, “A new kind of presence is about to take the road. Unveiling 18.09.2026 at PAPS 2026.” The wording points to a new vehicle rather than a simple announcement or update.
Kia’s teaser comes shortly after the company’s decision to discontinue the existing Stonic in Pakistan, further strengthening speculation that it could replace the outgoing model with its updated version.
The Pakistan Auto Parts Show (PAPS) 2026 will take place from September 18 to 20 at the Expo Centre in Lahore. The event will bring together automotive manufacturers, parts suppliers and other industry players, with several new vehicle announcements and unveilings expected.
Kia is scheduled to unveil its mystery vehicle on the first day of the show, September 18, so buyers will not have to wait much longer to find out whether the company is bringing a new Stonic or another SUV to Pakistan.
