Iran Air Restores Quetta–Zahedan Flights After Temporary Suspension
Iran Air has restored its flight service between Quetta and Zahedan after a temporary suspension, reopening an air link expected to support trade, business cooperation and travel between Pakistan and Iran.
Flight IRA 0827 arrived at Quetta International Airport from Zahedan on Tuesday and later returned to the Iranian city carrying more than 80 passengers.
Separately, Zahedan Chamber of Commerce President Haji Hakim Regi met members of Quetta’s business community. They discussed ways to expand bilateral trade, build commercial partnerships and improve cooperation between traders in the two countries.
The restored service is expected to make travel easier for businesspeople, traders and other passengers, while strengthening economic links between Balochistan and Iran.
Balochistan Governor Jafar Khan Mandokhail inaugurated Iran Air’s routes linking Quetta with Zahedan and Mashhad in December 2025. The service was later suspended amid the prevailing international situation.
