The Islamabad Electric Supply Company has issued a power suspension schedule for Friday on several feeders due to ongoing development work by the district administration.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply in parts of Islamabad City Circle will remain suspended from 7:00am to 12:00pm on the Service Road, Sohan, Highway, Zia Masjid and Iqbal Town feeders.
In Rawalpindi City Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 7:00am to 12:00pm on the Fazaia feeder.
In Attock Circle, electricity will remain suspended from 7:00am to 2:00pm on the Col Sher Khan feeder.
IESCO management apologised to consumers for the temporary interruption and said the shutdowns are necessary to facilitate the timely completion of development projects, including flyovers, underpasses, new 11kV feeders, road widening and related works.
For the convenience of consumers, the shutdown schedule has also been uploaded on IESCO’s official website and social media platforms.
