Govt Announces Tiny Relief in Petrol Price
The price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been increased, while motor spirit (MS) petrol sees a tiny relief for the next 24 hours.
The price of petrol has been decreased by Rs. 0.75/litre to Rs. 390.62 per litre, while diesel has been increased by Rs. 2.24/litre to Rs. 390.62 per litre.
This comes after international oil prices went back above $90 per barrel. At the time of press, Brent was at $91 and WTI at $85 per barrel.
On Tuesday, the price of petrol was increased by Rs. 1.63/litre to Rs. 335.81 per litre, while diesel was made more expensive by Rs. 1.55/litre to Rs. 388.38 per litre.
