Xiaomi Launches 240Hz 2K Gaming Monitor With IPS Panel for Just $149
Xiaomi has expanded its REDMI monitor lineup with the REDMI G27Q 240Hz 2026 Standard Edition, a 27-inch gaming monitor aimed at competitive players looking for high refresh rates at a lower price.
The monitor features a Fast IPS panel, 2K resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, and several gaming-focused display features.
Since Xiaomi and Redmi monitors actively launch in Pakistan, we can expect this one to reach the local market soon, though there is no official date as of yet.
High Color Accuracy
The REDMI G27Q 2026 uses a 27-inch Fast IPS panel with a resolution of 2,560 × 1,440 pixels.
It supports a 240Hz refresh rate and claims a 1ms GTG response time. The display also offers 178-degree viewing angles, 500 nits of full-screen brightness, and HDR support.
For color reproduction, it covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 100% of sRGB.
The panel supports 10-bit color through 8-bit + FRC, comes factory calibrated, and targets color accuracy of ΔE<2.
FreeSync Premium and Dynamic Overdrive
The monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium across its full refresh-rate range.
It also uses automatic compensation when frame rates fall to help reduce screen tearing.
A dynamic overdrive feature automatically adjusts gray-to-gray response based on the current frame rate.
Gaming Features
Xiaomi has included several additional gaming tools. Dark Field Enhancement Pro brightens darker areas of a scene without overexposing the rest of the image.
A dynamic crosshair provides five modes and can automatically adjust its color depending on what is displayed on the screen.
The monitor also includes a night vision mode designed to make shadowed areas easier to see.
Users can simulate a 24.5-inch screen size for different esports setups, although FreeSync Premium does not work while this mode is enabled.
Adjustable Stand
The REDMI G27Q 2026 uses Xiaomi’s Green Mountain Eye Protection Solution, which has received an S++ visual dimension certification from the China Quality Certification Center.
It also carries TÜV Rheinland hardware-level low blue light certification. Xiaomi says the technology reduces harmful blue light by 50% without giving the display a yellow tint.
The monitor uses a three-sided ultra-narrow bezel design. Its stand supports height adjustment, pivot, left-right swivel, and tilt, while VESA mounting is also supported with a separate monitor arm.
Ports, Price and Availability
Connectivity includes two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, two HDMI 2.0 ports, and a headphone jack.
Its launch promotional price will be no higher than around $119, while the regular price is approximately around $149.
