Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualifications
Applicants must meet the educational, professional registration, experience, and age requirements for their selected positions.
For Assistant Manager (Civil), candidates must have a BS or BSc degree in Civil Engineering from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). They must also be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and have at least five years of relevant experience.
The Assistant Manager (Electrical) and Assistant Manager (Mechanical) positions carry similar requirements. Candidates must hold a BS or BSc degree in their respective engineering fields, have PEC registration, and possess at least five years of relevant experience.
For Assistant Manager (Legal), applicants must hold an LLB or LLM degree from an HEC-recognized university and be registered with the Punjab Bar Council.
They must also have at least six years of practicing experience in higher courts or public or private organizations.
Requirements for Sub Engineers and Accounts Assistant
Candidates applying for Sub Engineer positions must hold a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
They must also have at least three years of experience in the public or private sector. The maximum age limit for these positions is 35 years.
For the Accounts Assistant position, applicants must hold a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree from an HEC-recognized university.
They must also have at least three years of relevant experience in financial management. The maximum age limit is 35 years.
Age Limit and Employment Conditions
The maximum age limit for Assistant Manager positions is 40 years, while candidates applying for Sub Engineer and Accounts Assistant positions must not exceed 35 years.
WASA Lahore will calculate applicants’ ages as of the application closing date.
The department will use the date of birth mentioned on the Matriculation or O-Level equivalence certificate. If the certificate does not contain the date of birth, the department will use the CNIC or birth certificate.
