Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo V80 will launch in India on October 6 at 12 PM.
The company has also revealed several key specifications of the upcoming smartphone, including its display, battery, cameras, software, and color options.
144Hz OLED Display and Three Colors
The Vivo V80 will feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness.
Vivo will offer the phone in three colors: Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue, and Stellar Black.
Android 17 and OriginOS 7
Vivo has not yet revealed the V80’s processor or memory configurations.
The phone will ship with OriginOS 7 based on Android 17.
This will make the Vivo V80 the first smartphone to run OriginOS 7 outside China.
Customers in India will also receive 100GB of cloud storage for six months through the Google One Standard Plan.
ZEISS Cameras and 4K Video
The Vivo V80 will feature four cameras co-developed with ZEISS.
It will support 4K Cinematic Video as well as 4K video recording at 60fps with optical image stabilization.
For the Indian market, Vivo will also include AI Diwali Portrait 2.0 and a dedicated Diwali Frame.
7,200mAh Battery and Launch Date
The Vivo V80 will pack a 7,200mAh battery with support for 90W charging.
Vivo will reveal the remaining specifications, including the chipset and memory options, when the phone officially launches on October 6.
