The Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed in green against the US Dollar (USD) for the 241st consecutive day on Wednesday.
More importantly, the United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) could drop below Rs. 75 if current uncertainty in the UAE economy continues, a day trader told ProPakistani.
The PKR closed at 277.27 after gaining three paisas against the US Dollar today.
The rupee has consistently reported gains against the dollar since December 25, 2025.
Other Currencies
The rupee gained 12 paisas against the British Pound (GBP) but lost three paisas against the Australian Dollar (AUD).
It lost 29 paisas against the Euro (EUR) but gained 43 paisas against the Canadian Dollar (CAD).
PKR gained one paisa against the UAE Dirham (AED) and remained stable against the Saudi Riyal (SAR).
