The Punjab Provincial Transport Authority has provided details of designated Provincial Vehicle Inspection and Certification System (PVICS) Centres where vehicle owners can obtain fitness certificates.
The authority has advised vehicle owners to visit their nearest center to complete the fitness certification process before authorities begin enforcement against vehicles without valid certificates on October 15.
Several PVICS centers operate in Lahore, including M/S Auto Aeon Valencia, M/S Auto Aeon Chuburji, M/S Auto Aeon Zaib Center and M/S Auto Aeon Begampura. Lahore also has PVICS facilities at M/S Bosch Longsight Motors, M/S AutoSure, M/S Autoserai Raiwind Road and M/S AutoSure PSO on PIA Road.
Vehicle owners in southern Punjab can visit M/S Bosch Longsight Motors in Rahim Yar Khan or M/S Bosch Longsight Motors in Sadiqabad for the fitness certification process. In Faisalabad, the authority has listed two M/S Auto Mechanix locations, one at Iqbal Stadium and another at West Canal. A PVICS facility also operates at M/S Auto Aeon in Multan.
The authority has urged vehicle owners to obtain their fitness certificates without delay. From October 15, authorities will take legal action against vehicles operating without valid fitness certificates and may impose heavy fines and penalties.
