Nothing’s CMF is Getting Into Wireless Speakers with Stylish Designs
Nothing’s budget sub-brand CMF is getting into wireless speakers, with new leaks and teasers sharing key details about the upcoming devices and their unusual yet stylish designs.
CMF has already confirmed that the Speaker S and Speaker M will launch on October 12, but a retailer appears to have revealed most of their specifications and pricing ahead of the official announcement.
Listings from a Sri Lankan retailer show both speakers in detail, including their design, battery life, audio hardware, and expected prices.
Unusual Milk Carton Design
The leaked images show both speakers with a distinctive milk carton-inspired shape, featuring a gabled top and an integrated carrying handle.
Both models have a matte finish, CMF branding on the front, a small round button on top, and an orange control knob beside the handle.
The smaller Speaker S has one large circular grille on the front, while the taller Speaker M uses two vertically stacked grilles.
The orange knob appears similar to the rotating controls used on other CMF products. CMF’s teaser also suggests it could be replaceable, but the leaked listings do not confirm that feature.
A little twist.
A lot more sound.

CMF Speaker S
According to the listing, the CMF Speaker S uses a 40mm full-range driver paired with a 50mm passive bass radiator.
It reportedly delivers 12W RMS output and supports 360-degree sound. The speaker is said to pack a 2,500mAh battery with up to 18 hours of playback.
Other leaked specifications include Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C charging, and an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. The Speaker S reportedly weighs 580g. The Speaker S is shown in Carbon Black
CMF Speaker M Specs Leak
The larger CMF Speaker M is also listed with 12W output, although it uses a dual-driver setup and includes a bass boost feature.
It reportedly offers up to 18 hours of battery life, Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C charging, and IP54 splash resistance. The orange knob can apparently control volume directly without requiring an app.
The listing also mentions a low-battery indicator. Its integrated handle can be used to carry the speaker or hang it from a bag or hook.
The retailer does not reveal the Speaker M’s battery capacity or weight.
The Speaker M appears in Carbon Black and White. Separate images circulating online also show the Speaker M in Blue and Orange, although these colors have not been officially confirmed.
Leaked Prices
The same retailer has already listed both models for pre-order.
The CMF Speaker S is priced at roughly $80, while the CMF Speaker M is listed at around $120.
| Model | Leaked Output | Leaked Battery Life | Bluetooth | IP Rating | Leaked Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CMF Speaker S | 12W RMS | Up to 18 hours | Bluetooth 5.4 | IP54 | ~$80 |
| CMF Speaker M | 12W | Up to 18 hours | Bluetooth 5.4 | IP54 | ~$120 |
Since these details come from a retailer rather than CMF itself, some specifications or prices could change before launch.
CMF is expected to confirm the full details when the Speaker S and Speaker M officially launch on October 12.
