Nora is preparing to introduce two electric vehicles, the NEO and Metro, in Pakistan, offering urban commuters modern features and a claimed driving range of up to 300 kilometers.
Both models fall into the L7 quadricycle category and share several key specifications, including battery capacity, motor power, maximum speed, and charging time.
The Nora NEO and Metro feature a 23.1 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery paired with a 4 kW motor. Both vehicles have a claimed range of 250 to 300 kilometers on a single charge and a top speed of 70 km/h.
The electric vehicles feature rear-wheel drive, a 72-volt electrical system, and a charging time of approximately six to eight hours. Each model can accommodate four passengers.
Nora NEO Features
The Nora NEO features a modern exterior design and a range of convenience and safety features. Its equipment includes a 9-inch HD touchscreen, keyless entry, push-button start, and a multifunction steering wheel.
The vehicle also comes with an electronic parking brake and disc brakes on all four wheels. The NEO has a wheelbase of 2,300 mm and ground clearance of 180 mm. It rides on 175/70 R13 tires.
Nora Metro Features
The Nora Metro offers a different design and equipment package, including touchscreen infotainment, keyless entry, push-button start, power windows, and a reversing camera.
It shares the NEO’s battery capacity, motor power, claimed driving range, and maximum speed. However, the Metro has a longer wheelbase of 2,360 mm and greater ground clearance of 210 mm. It also features larger 195/70 R14 tires.
Prices
The Nora NEO and Metro are reportedly priced below Rs. 3 million in Pakistan, although the company has yet to officially confirm their prices.
