NCCIA Arrests Suspect Over Saudi Visa Scam on TikTok

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has arrested a suspect in Faisalabad for allegedly defrauding citizens through a TikTok account advertising Saudi Arabian visas.

The agency said it registered a case against the suspect, who allegedly used forged documents and transferred money obtained through the scheme into bank accounts with the help of other suspects.

During the operation, investigators recovered two mobile phones, 10 fake SIM cards, an Easypaisa account and an alleged merchant account, according to the NCCIA.

NCCIA Director General Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi warned that the agency would take strict legal action against people who use social media to defraud citizens under the pretext of overseas employment and visa offers. He urged the public to verify visa offers before transferring money and report suspicious social media accounts to the agency.

Financial fraud accounted for 48% of all cybercrime complaints received by the NCCIA in 2026, according to the agency’s statistics.
