Moto G47 Power Debuts With 78-Hour Battery Life and 108MP Camera

Motorola has officially launched the Moto G47 Power in Europe, expanding its Moto G47 lineup with a larger battery and faster charging.

The new smartphone features a 7,000mAh battery, up from the standard Moto G47’s 5,200mAh capacity. Motorola claims it can last up to 78 hours on a single charge.

Other highlights include a 120Hz display, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, and a 108MP main camera.

Design and Display

The Moto G47 Power features a 6.67-inch LCD with a resolution of 720 × 1604 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The display reaches up to 1,050 nits of brightness in high-brightness mode and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.

The phone measures 166.23 × 76.5 × 8.89mm and weighs 215g. This makes it thicker and heavier than the standard Moto G47, which measures 7.9mm in thickness and weighs 191g.

Motorola has also included IP64 dust and splash resistance, along with MIL-STD-810H certification.

The smartphone comes in three Pantone colors: Capri, Nautical Blue, and Impenetrable. Capri replaces the Fuchsia Red option available on the regular Moto G47.

Internals and Software

The Moto G47 Power runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Unlike the standard model, the Power version is available in only one memory configuration. However, users can expand storage through a microSD card.

The device runs Android 16 out of the box, despite Android 17 already being available.

Other features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Cameras

The Moto G47 Power features a dual-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 108MP primary camera and a 2MP macro camera.

For selfies and video calls, the smartphone comes with an 8MP front-facing camera.

The camera hardware remains unchanged from the standard Moto G47.

Battery and Pricing

The biggest upgrade on the Moto G47 Power is its 7,000mAh battery, compared to the 5,200mAh battery in the regular Moto G47.

Motorola claims the larger battery can provide up to 78 hours of use on a single charge.

Charging speed has also increased from 20W to 30W wired charging. Additionally, the phone supports 6W wired reverse charging, allowing users to charge other compatible devices.

The Moto G47 Power is priced at €339 in Europe and £299 in the UK.

Apart from its larger battery, improved charging speeds, and slightly different design, most specifications remain the same as the standard Moto G47.
