Motorola’s upcoming wide foldable phone has appeared in a new leak that reveals its key specifications and a possible name.
The device is reportedly being called Razr Flex internally, although it is not yet clear whether Motorola will use that name for the final product. Its reported codename is Parker.
Motorola has already started teasing the device, confirming that a new wide foldable is in development.
Display and Form Factor
The Razr Flex reportedly features a 6.92-inch folding OLED display with a resolution of 2364 × 1728 pixels and a 165Hz refresh rate.
On the outside, it is said to have a 4.97-inch OLED cover display with a resolution of 1140 × 1736 pixels.
The phone reportedly measures 110 × 149 × 5.8mm when unfolded and 110 × 76 × 12.6mm when folded.
It is tipped to weigh 215g and come in Pantone Coriander and Pantone Dark Botanical Garden color options.
The device is also said to carry IP48 and IP49 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Performance and Software
Motorola is reportedly using the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
The phone is expected to come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, with no other memory or storage configurations planned.
A fingerprint scanner is reportedly built into the side-mounted power button.
The Razr Flex is expected to launch with Android 17 out of the box.
Camera Setup
The rear camera system reportedly includes a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultrawide camera.
Motorola is also said to include two 32MP selfie cameras, with one positioned for each display.
Battery and Launch Timeline
The Razr Flex reportedly packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W wireless charging.
Pricing has not yet leaked.
The phone is currently expected to launch in mid-December, although Motorola has not officially confirmed the date or the Razr Flex name.
