Khaadi to List on PSX

Pakistan’s fashion and retail brand Khaadi is planning to launch an initial public offering (IPO) next month, reported Bloomberg.

Khaadi Pakistan Ltd. plans to raise between Rs. 6.2 billion and Rs. 8.3 billion through a combination of a pre-IPO placement and the upcoming public offering.

Arif Habib Ltd. is advising the company on the transaction.

The planned fundraising involves 500 million shares. Half of these shares are part of a pre-IPO placement, while the remaining 250 million shares are expected to be offered through the IPO.

The pre-IPO placement covers 250 million shares at a price range of Rs. 12.40 to Rs. 15.20, potentially raising Rs. 3.1 billion to Rs. 3.8 billion. The IPO will involve another 250 million shares.

Combined, the two transactions could raise as much as Rs. 8.3 billion.

Khaadi plans to use the IPO proceeds to support its expansion, including capital expenditure of around Rs. 3.5 billion annually from 2027 onward.

Khaadi operates primarily in Pakistan and also has a presence in the UAE, UK and US.

The company is also converting its conventional outlets into “experience stores” designed to offer customers a more immersive brand and shopping environment.

The brand also has an online presence that reaches more than 200 cities.
