Karachi Children’s Hospital Set for Revival After Months of Closure

The Children’s Hospital in North Karachi is set for revival after months of closure, with a new administration scheduled to take over the facility from its previous management.

According to the report, officials scheduled the hospital’s handover to the new management for today. They were holding a meeting at the hospital to oversee the transfer from the previous administration.

CEO Dr Shahid Raza arrived to chair the meeting. Administrator Arif Niaz also joined the discussions on the new administration taking charge of the facility.

Officials also planned to discuss the future of around 400 to 450 hospital employees as part of the management handover. A large number of employees gathered on the hospital premises while the meeting took place.

The report did not provide a date for restarting medical services. It also did not explain how the new administration would manage the existing workforce or what decisions officials would take about their employment.
