IESCO Announces 2-Day Power Shutdown Schedule

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) will suspend power supply to several feeders in Islamabad, Attock and GSO circles on October 3 and 4 to support ongoing development projects and power infrastructure work.

The planned outages will facilitate projects involving flyover and underpass construction, road widening, installation of new 11kV feeders, and relocation of electricity poles and other power installations.

On Saturday, October 3, several Islamabad Circle feeders, including Islamabad Club-1, Islamabad Club-2, Mehfooz Shaheed/Shahzad Town, Filtration Plant, Pindorian, Scheme-2, Orchard Scheme and CDA Pump, will face outages from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sudhran Feeder will remain affected from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

In the GSO Circle, Line Park, Behkri, Al-Qaim, Sarkal, Mangan, Karyala, Jamal Wal, Millat Chowk, Al-Qadir, KSM Unit-3, Al-Rizwan, PAF, Bhun, Hasil, Nela, Pipli, Balkasa, Kot Chaudhrian, Kasral and Dullah feeders will face outages from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.

On Sunday, October 4, the same Islamabad Circle feeders will remain affected from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. IESCO will also suspend power from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Chatta Bakhtawar, Tramari, CM Pak Zong, Kurri, Rehara, Park Enclave-1, Kund Rajgan, Scheme-1, King Hammad, PHA-1, Isolation Hospital, IT Park and ISI feeders.

In Attock Circle, Lala Zar, POF, Munirabad and Karnel Sher Khan feeders will remain without power from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. The scheduled GSO Circle feeders will face outages from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.

IESCO said the shutdowns will help authorities complete development work and safely relocate power infrastructure. Consumers can check the detailed schedules through IESCO’s official website and social media platforms or call the helpline at 118.
