It’s hard to believe that a sequel, let alone a fifth installment of an animated feature film, can break records, but Toy Story isn’t just any old franchise. Buy or rent it on digital
About two months after its theatrical release, Toy Story 5 made its digital debut on Aug. 18, 2026. While it was originally available to rent for $24.99 or purchase for $29.99, the rental option has now disappeared ahead of its streaming debut. You can still purchase it on digital, however, for a reduced cost of $19.99. The rental option will likely return in the coming weeks.
