Honor has listed the Honor 600 Elite 5G on its LATAM website, making it the fourth model in the global Honor 600 series.
It joins the Honor 600, Honor 600 Pro, and Honor 600 Elite, all of which launched earlier this year. The new model focuses on battery life and durability, offering an 8,100mAh battery, IP69K protection, SGS-certified drop resistance, and several AI features.
Design and Display
The Honor 600 Elite 5G features a 6.87-inch TFT LCD with a resolution of 1592 × 720 pixels.
The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches up to 1,020 nits of HBM brightness.
Honor has also focused heavily on durability. The phone carries IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for protection against dust and water under controlled laboratory conditions.
The company says the phone can withstand water temperatures of up to 85°C and has been tested through 10,000 water exposure cycles.
It also comes with SGS-certified drop and crush resistance. Honor claims the device can survive drops from up to 2.5 metres under its own laboratory testing conditions.
The phone will be available in Desert Gold, Velvet Black and Meteor Silver.
Internals and Software
The Honor 600 Elite 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Honor RAM Turbo can add up to 16GB of virtual RAM, which the company describes as providing a 24GB-equivalent memory experience.
The phone runs MagicOS 10.0 based on Android 16. A dedicated AI Button provides quick access to features including AI Summary, AI Writing, Circle to Search, and AI Memory.
Other hardware includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and dual speakers with support for a 400% volume boost.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual Nano SIM support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Cameras
The Honor 600 Elite 5G features a 108MP main rear camera with an f/1.75 aperture, accompanied by an auxiliary sensor.
A 5MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. Honor has also included AI 2.0, which can turn still images into videos.
Battery and Pricing
The phone’s biggest highlight is its 8,100mAh battery, with a nominal rated capacity of 7,900mAh.
It supports 45W Honor SuperCharge. Honor says the battery is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 50°C and claims up to six years of durability and performance.
The company has not yet announced the price or sale date for the Honor 600 Elite 5G.
The listed configuration includes 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, while details about sales channels and availability in individual global markets are still unconfirmed.
