Google has started selling hardware directly through the Play Store in select regions.
A new “Shop devices” option has appeared in the Play Store account menu, giving users access to smartphones and smartwatches without visiting the separate Google Store.
Pixel and Samsung Devices Listed
Google is not limiting the new section to its own hardware. The Play Store currently lists devices from both Google and Samsung, including the Pixel 11 series, Pixel Watches, Galaxy S26 lineup, and selected Galaxy Watch8 models.
Availability varies by region. Some markets are seeing both Pixel and Samsung products, while others currently show only Google devices.
The hardware section also does not appear to be fully available everywhere yet.
No Special Discounts
The listed devices currently carry their regular retail prices.
Google does not appear to be offering Play Store-exclusive discounts or promotions, making the feature another channel for purchasing supported hardware rather than a cheaper alternative to the Google Store.
Samsung is the Only Partner So Far
Samsung is currently the only third-party smartphone brand appearing alongside Google’s own devices.
It is unclear whether this reflects the close partnership between Google and Samsung or whether Samsung is simply the first manufacturer to join the new hardware section.
Google has not confirmed whether devices from additional Android brands will eventually be sold through the Play Store.
