Sindh Education Department Rejects Fake School Timing Schedule
The Sindh School Education and Literacy Department has rejected a document circulating on social media claiming to announce new school timings across the province.
Education Minister Sindh Syed Sardar Ali Shah said the document is fake and is being used to spread misleading information. The minister said the School Education and Literacy Department will issue the official school timing schedule soon.
The clarification comes a day after Shah announced a one-hour reduction in school hours across Sindh in view of the prevailing severe heat.
Speaking at an event in Karachi on Tuesday, the education minister had said the decision was aimed at protecting students from extreme temperatures. The department has urged the public to rely on the official school timing schedule once it is formally issued and avoid sharing the fake document.
