The Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) has opened admissions for BS Nursing and Post RN BS Nursing degree programs at the Dow Institute of Nursing and Midwifery for the academic session 2026-27.
According to the university’s admission announcement, applications can be submitted online from October 19 to November 20, 2026.
The university is offering a four-year BS Nursing degree program with morning and evening classes and a two-year Post RN BS Nursing program with morning classes.
Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria and hold a domicile and Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of Sindh province.
Eligibility Criteria for BS Nursing
Candidates applying for the four-year BS Nursing degree must have completed Matric Science with Biology, Chemistry, and Physics as compulsory subjects.
Applicants must also have passed FSc Pre-Medical with at least 50% marks. The age limit for admission is 17 to 35 years. Candidates must also hold a valid domicile and Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of Sindh province.
According to the university, 50% of the seats are allocated to female candidates and 50% to male candidates.
Eligibility Criteria for Post RN BS Nursing
For the two-year Post RN BS Nursing degree, candidates must have completed Matric in Science or Arts in accordance with the relevant Higher Education Commission (HEC) notification.
Applicants must also hold a three-year Diploma in Nursing and a one-year Diploma in Midwifery. Male candidates may have a one-year post-basic specialty qualification instead of the Midwifery diploma.
Additionally, candidates must have at least one year of clinical experience, valid Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) registration, and a Sindh domicile and PRC.
The university has also announced a 50% female and 50% male gender ratio for this program.

Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the official DUHS admission portal at https://admission-duhs.effii.app/application/index.php.
The application process started on October 19, 2026, and will remain open until November 20, 2026.
Applicants can visit admissions.duhs.edu.pk to access the admission prospectus and review the requirements before applying.
The university has set an application fee of Rs. 3,000, which is non-refundable and non-adjustable. The fee must be paid online only.
