British Politician Threatens Pakistan With Visa Ban for Not Taking Back ‘Daddy’

United Kingdom politician Nigel Farage has threatened visa bans, flight restrictions, and asset freezes against Pakistani nationals if Islamabad refuses to accept convicted Rochdale grooming gang ringleader Shabir Ahmed, known to his victims as “Daddy.”

In a post on X, Farage said he would use the restrictions to pressure Pakistan into accepting Ahmed’s deportation.

“If they want a fight, I’ll give them one,” he wrote.

Ahmed, 73, was released on license in July 2026 after serving 14 years of a 22-year prison sentence for child sexual offenses, including rape. He was stripped of British citizenship following his conviction.

Pakistan disputes his nationality and has resisted his return, maintaining that his case is Britain’s responsibility. Separately, protections under the UK’s Immigration Act 1971 have blocked his deportation because he arrived in Britain before 1973.

Despite his release, Ahmed remains under strict supervision, including a GPS monitoring tag and accommodation staffed around the clock.

Farage’s warning comes alongside Reform’s proposals to suspend Britain’s asylum system for five years if the party forms a government. Its plans include canceling outstanding applications and deporting migrants awaiting decisions.

The party also proposes using tariffs and travel restrictions against countries refusing to accept deportees. However, these remain political proposals, not an announced blanket ban on Pakistani travelers.
