2 Cheaper-Than-Alto Electric Cars are Launching in Pakistan
Nora is preparing to launch two new electric vehicles in Pakistan, called the Nora NEO and Nora METRO.
The company had planned to unveil both models around PAPS 2026, scheduled from September 18 to 20 in Lahore. However, shipping delays have affected the timeline, and Nora is now working with a tentative launch date of around September 20 or later.
Both vehicles are classified as L7-category quadricycles. They belong to the same category as the existing Nora EV but are considerably larger and more powerful. The larger METRO is even bigger than the Suzuki Swift in some dimensions.
First Look at Nora METRO
Images of the Nora METRO show a relatively large five-door body with dimensions closer to a compact hatchback than a conventional small quadricycle.
Pictures of the Nora NEO show a smaller five-door design, although it is still considerably larger than the existing Nora EV.
The available images also provide a look at the cabins and infotainment setups of both vehicles ahead of their Pakistan debut.

Pricing
Nora has not announced the final prices of either vehicle yet.
However, the company told PakWheels that both the NEO and METRO will cost below Rs. 3 million.
The L7 classification has helped keep their expected prices relatively affordable despite their larger dimensions.
Launch Timeline
Nora originally planned to unveil both vehicles during PAPS 2026 in Lahore from September 18 to 20.
However, unavoidable shipping delays have affected those plans. The company is now targeting a tentative launch around September 20 or later.
Both models are unusually large for L7-category vehicles, with dimensions closer to compact hatchbacks than smaller quadricycles. The METRO, in particular, is wider and taller than some mainstream passenger hatchbacks.
With a claimed range of 250 to 300 km, five-door bodies, four seats, and expected prices below Rs. 30 lakh, the two vehicles are positioned for urban uses such as grocery runs, school and college commutes, office travel, and shorter city trips.
