Director General Immigration and Passports Muhammad Ali Randhawa chaired a meeting of senior officials in Islamabad to review ongoing measures and progress on improving passport services.
The officials discussed passport issuance and processing, the new passport application system at NADRA registration centers, integration of passport services with the Pak ID mobile app, and passport delivery services.
Randhawa directed the relevant officials to resolve operational issues on a priority basis. He also instructed them to strengthen coordination among all institutions involved in passport services.
Randhawa emphasized the need to expand digital facilities and simplify procedures to make passport services more convenient and accessible for citizens.
He directed the department to continue improving its services and use digital solutions to provide citizens with more efficient and user-friendly passport facilities.
