Cambridge earlier had announced that it would cancel the paper’s marks and use its “assessed marks” method following the premature leak of the exam paper in administrative Zones 3 and 4.

Sources said Cambridge has now conducted a detailed analysis which showed the leaked material did not have significant visibility in Pakistan and did not affect students’ performance.
Grades will now be issued based on candidates’ actual answers.
The reversal has triggered mixed reactions among A-Level students, with many expressing frustration over weeks of uncertainty and questioning why candidates were put through stress over a grading approach that was later abandoned.
The controversy follows Cambridge’s earlier confirmation that the Mathematics Paper 52 was shared prematurely in violation of exam regulations.
