The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Sahiwal has released the official result gazette for the Secondary School Certificate First Annual Examination 2026.
According to the gazette, a total of 85,343 candidates applied for the examination, while 84,159 appeared. Of these, 54,788 candidates passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 65.10 percent.
BISE Sahiwal officially announced the Class 10 result at 10:00 AM on August 6, 2026.
Science Group Result
A total of 70,320 candidates appeared in the Science Group, including regular and private students. Of these, 47,596 passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 67.68 percent.
Regular Science candidates recorded a considerably higher pass rate of 75.25 percent. A total of 48,668 regular candidates appeared, while 36,622 passed.
Among private Science candidates, 21,652 appeared and 10,974 passed. Their pass percentage stood at 50.68 percent.
Girls also performed better than boys in the Science Group. A total of 34,427 female candidates appeared, while 25,705 passed, producing a pass percentage of 74.67 percent.
Among boys, 35,893 candidates appeared and 21,891 passed, taking their pass percentage to 60.99 percent.
General Group Result
In the General Group, 13,774 candidates appeared and 7,127 passed. The overall pass percentage for the group remained 51.74 percent.
Regular General Group candidates achieved a pass percentage of 58.89 percent, with 5,273 successful candidates out of 8,954 who appeared.
Private candidates recorded a pass percentage of 38.46 percent. A total of 4,820 private candidates appeared, while 1,854 passed.
The gender-wise statistics again showed a clear difference. Girls achieved a pass percentage of 57.29 percent, with 5,522 successful candidates out of 9,638 who appeared.
Among boys, 4,136 appeared and 1,605 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 38.81 percent.
BISE Sahiwal Result Gazette
The BISE Sahiwal Class 10 result gazette contains the combined examination records of regular and private candidates. Students, parents, teachers, and educational institutions can use the PDF document to search for results by roll number or name.
Successful candidates are listed with their obtained marks, while subject abbreviations appear against candidates who could not clear one or more papers.
The gazette also includes group-wise performance, gender-wise statistics, district-wise results, grade distribution, position holders, subject-wise pass percentages, and unfair-means case statistics.
The result covers both the new examination scheme carrying 1,200 marks and the old scheme carrying 1,100 marks.
Private candidates will receive their result cards through ordinary post. Result cards of regular candidates will be sent to their respective institutions along with computerized result statements.
Candidates who do not receive their result cards by August 21, 2026, can contact the board’s examination branch.
