The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Faisalabad has released the official result gazette for the Secondary School Certificate 10th Class First Annual Examination 2026.
According to the gazette, a total of 194,861 candidates submitted admission forms, while 192,925 appeared in the examination. Of these, 144,089 candidates passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 74.69 percent.
The written examination started on March 27, 2026, and concluded on May 8. Practical examinations began on May 12 and continued until June 18. The board officially announced the result at 10:00 AM on August 6, 2026.
Science Group Result
A total of 156,633 candidates appeared in the Science Group, including regular and private students. Of these, 122,947 passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 78.49 percent.
Regular Science candidates recorded a significantly higher pass rate. A total of 123,957 regular candidates appeared, while 104,465 passed, taking their pass percentage to approximately 84.27 percent.
Among private Science candidates, 32,676 appeared and 18,482 passed. Their pass percentage stood at approximately 56.56 percent.
Girls also performed better than boys in the Science Group. A total of 71,955 female candidates appeared, while 61,065 passed, producing a pass percentage of approximately 84.86 percent.
Among boys, 84,678 candidates appeared and 61,882 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of approximately 73.08 percent.
General Group Result
In the General Group, 36,067 candidates appeared and 20,961 passed. The overall pass percentage for the group remained approximately 58.12 percent.
Regular General Group candidates achieved a pass percentage of approximately 65.43 percent, with 15,708 successful candidates out of 24,008 who appeared.
Private General Group candidates recorded a pass percentage of approximately 43.56 percent. A total of 12,059 private candidates appeared, while 5,253 passed.
The gender-wise statistics also showed a considerable difference. Girls recorded a pass percentage of approximately 63.93 percent, while boys achieved approximately 43.96 percent.
BISE Faisalabad Result Gazette
The BISE Faisalabad Class 10 result gazette contains the combined examination records of regular and private candidates. Students, parents, teachers, and educational institutions can use the PDF document to search for results by roll number or name.
The gazette also includes group-wise performance, district-wise results, grade distribution, position holders, subject-wise pass percentages, unfair-means cases, and lists of withheld or cancelled roll numbers.
Successful candidates are listed with their obtained marks, while subject abbreviations appear against candidates who failed in one or more papers.
The result covers both the new examination scheme carrying 1,200 marks and the old scheme carrying 1,100 marks.
Private candidates will receive their result cards at the addresses submitted with their admission forms. Regular candidates will receive their result cards through the heads of their institutions.
Candidates seeking rechecking of their answer books can apply within 15 days of the result announcement. The board has set the rechecking fee at Rs. 2,000 per paper.
