How Audible Standard Works
The Audible Standard plan works a little differently than the pricier Premium Plus tier. Normally running $8.99 per month, Standard lets you pick one audiobook every month from Audible’s massive catalog of bestsellers and brand-new releases. You also get unlimited streaming access to a wide library of bingeable podcasts, all playable on your phone, tablet, or web browser.
Your monthly audiobook selections remain in your library to enjoy for as long as your membership is active. The one detail to remember is that Standard does not roll over unused monthly selections. You will want to pick your title each month before your billing date refreshes, or that month’s pick evaporates.
How the $20 bonus works
The $20 promotional credit is credited to your Audible account within 48 hours of payment verification, followed by a confirmation email. It cannot be redeemed for cash or gifted to someone else, but it applies directly toward cash purchases of audio titles sold on Audible.
Unlike your monthly Standard picks — which stay tied to an active subscription — any audiobooks you buy using this cash credit are yours to keep permanently, even after canceling.
