Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has postponed its Spring 2026 semester examinations scheduled for October 12 and 13 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to the prevailing law and order situation.
According to an official notification issued by the university’s Examination Department, the exams originally scheduled for October 12 will now take place on November 2, 2026, while those scheduled for October 13 will be held on November 3, 2026.
The university has clarified that examinations in Hazara Division and all other parts of Pakistan will continue according to the previously announced schedule. The postponement applies only to the affected areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
AIOU has not announced any changes to the remaining examination dates. Students in unaffected regions will appear in their examinations according to their existing date sheets.
The university has advised students seeking further information about the revised examination schedule to contact their nearest AIOU regional office.
