Pakistan Top Market for Coca Cola After Sales Jump 17% in Q2 2026

Pakistan emerged as the biggest growth driver for Coca-Cola İçecek (CCI), the Turkish bottling partner of The Coca-Cola Company here, after the company reported a 17 percent year-on-year increase in sales volume in the second quarter of 2026.

The company said Pakistan’s strong performance was driven by a more competitive market position, effective commercial execution and successful product launches, making it the leading contributor to growth across CCI’s international operations.

CCI reported that its consolidated sales volume rose 9.8 percent year-on-year to 519 million unit cases during the quarter.

Pakistan recorded the strongest contribution among the company’s major markets, followed by Uzbekistan, where volumes increased 21.1 percent, and Kazakhstan, which posted 12.7 percent growth. Iraq also returned to growth with a 1.1 percent increase despite ongoing geopolitical tensions.

Commenting on the results, CCI Chief Executive Officer Ahmet Kürşad Ertin said:

Our second quarter results once again demonstrated the resilience of our business model and the strength of our diversified geographic footprint. Despite continued macroeconomic and geopolitical volatility across several of our countries, including disruptions due to the ongoing war in the region, we delivered resilient consolidated results in the first half of 2026, supported by balanced contributions from our operations.

Financially, the company reported net sales revenue of TL 67.2 billion, up 5.7 percent from a year earlier. Excluding the effects of inflation accounting, revenue increased 40.7 percent to TL 69.2 billion, supported by disciplined pricing, improved product mix and revenue management.

“Our international operations continued to be the key growth engine, with particular contributions from Pakistan and Central Asia more than offsetting the subdued volume trend in Türkiye. We are pleased to have delivered on our Quality Growth Strategy, turning robust volume growth into value creation across the P&L and converting that value into strong cash generation,” Ertin added.

CCI said its consolidated gross margin also improved during the quarter as cost controls and operational efficiencies strengthened profitability.

Looking ahead, the company said it would continue investing in brands, distribution and route-to-market capabilities while focusing on increasing beverage consumption and maintaining affordability.

Besides Pakistan, CCI operates in Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Iraq, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Jordan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Syria. The company employs more than 10,000 people, operates 36 bottling plants and serves a population of over 600 million across its markets.
