Punjab Announces Government Jobs With Salaries Up to Rs. 796,000 Per Month
The Information Technology & Innovation Department, Government of the Punjab, has announced new government job opportunities offering monthly salaries ranging from Rs. 105,000 to Rs. 796,000.
The vacancies have been announced under the Punjab Frontier Tech Skills Acceleration & ICT for Girls Project. Qualified and experienced professionals holding Punjab domicile can apply until August 26, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
According to the official advertisement, all appointments will initially be made on a contract basis for three years, which may be extended under applicable rules and requirements. Punjab Government Jobs 2026
A total of seven vacancies across six positions have been announced.
The highest-paying vacancy is for Project Director/Program Head (PPS-11). One position is available with a lump-sum salary of Rs. 796,000 per month and a maximum age limit of 55 years.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Business, Public Policy, Project Management, Economics, or a related field. They must have 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in program or project management, preferably in the public sector. Experience with large-scale projects in mid- to senior-level positions, along with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, is required.
Manager-Level Vacancies
The department has announced one position each for Manager Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), Manager Finance & Accounts, and Manager Procurement & Contracts.
Each of these PPS-10 positions carries a lump-sum salary of Rs. 437,000 per month, with a maximum age limit of 55 years.
For Manager Monitoring & Evaluation, applicants require a Master’s degree in Information Technology, PMP, Data Analytics, or a related field and five to eight years of relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation or data analysis.
Applicants for Manager Finance & Accounts should possess CA, ACCA, MBA, BBA, Finance, Commerce, or a related qualification with five to eight years of relevant experience in financial management. Knowledge of public-sector financial procedures and reporting will be preferred.
For Manager Procurement & Contracts, candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, CA, ACCA, Commerce, or a related field and have five to eight years of relevant experience in public-sector procurement. Familiarity with PPRA rules and contract management is also required.
Assistant Manager IT & Data Jobs
One vacancy has been announced for Assistant Manager IT & Data (PPS-09) with a monthly lump-sum salary of Rs. 306,000.
The maximum age limit is 40 years. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Data Science, or a related discipline and four to six years of relevant experience in data systems, dashboards, analytics tools, and IT system establishment.
Project Assistant Jobs
The department has also announced two Project Assistant (PPS-06) positions, each offering a lump-sum salary of Rs. 105,000 per month.
Candidates must be no older than 30 years and should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Software, Computer Science, or a related field. They must have one to two years of relevant experience or proficiency in using computer applications and software.
