Saudis Want to Invest $10 Billion in Pakistan
Saudi Arabia’s Falcon Vision Group has shown interest in investing up to $10 billion in Pakistan, particularly sectors like infrastructure, construction, technology and industrial development.
The development was shared during a meeting between Board of Investment (BOI) Minister Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh and a high-level Falcon Vision delegation led by Vice Chairman and President Muhammad Tariq Ghaus.
The delegation informed the minister that Saudi investors are considering large-scale projects in Pakistan.
Sheikh assured the investors of government support and highlighted incentives available under Pakistan’s investment framework, including income tax exemptions for Special Economic Zones (SEZs) until 2035, duty concessions on machinery imports, one-window facilitation services, and full profit repatriation facilities.
The minister said the government is working to reduce business hurdles, including energy-related challenges, to improve the investment environment.
The delegation also discussed plans for technology zones and real estate ventures.
