The Punjab School Education Department has issued the initial merit lists for School Teacher Interns (STI) recruitment 2026-27, allowing applicants to check their merit position before the interview stage.
According to the official recruitment schedule, schools were required to display the initial STI merit lists on October 23, 2026.
Candidates can check their application information through the official STI portal. However, the department has specified that the initial merit lists are displayed on the notice boards of the concerned schools.
Applicants should therefore check both the STI portal and the school where they applied.
How to Check Punjab STI Merit List 2026 Online
Candidates can start by visiting the official STI portal at sti.pesrp.edu.pk. Applicants should log in using the credentials they created while submitting their STI application.
After signing in, candidates can check their application status and any merit-related information available through their account.
Applicants should make sure that they are checking the application linked to the correct school and vacancy.
Where to Check the Tentative STI Merit List
The department’s recruitment schedule states that the initial merit list will be displayed at the concerned school.
Candidates should visit the school where they submitted their application and check the notice board for their name and merit position.
This is particularly important if the merit list is not immediately visible through the online portal.
Candidates should not assume that their application has been rejected simply because they cannot find their name online.
When Can Candidates Submit Objections?
Candidates can raise objections or grievances regarding the initial merit list on October 26 and October 27, 2026.
The complaints will be dealt with through the relevant mechanism established for the STI recruitment process.
Applicants who believe their merit has been calculated incorrectly or whose information contains an error should raise the issue during this period.
Candidates should not wait until the final merit list if they identify a problem in the initial list.
When Will the Final STI Merit List Be Announced?
The final STI merit list will be displayed on October 31, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
Unlike the initial list, the final merit list is scheduled to be available both at the concerned school and through the official STI portal.
Candidates should check the final list carefully to confirm whether they have secured selection.
STI Jobs Schedule 2026
The initial merit lists were scheduled for display on October 23, 2026. The grievance period will run on October 26 and 27, followed by interviews on October 29 and 30.
The department will issue the final merit list on October 31 at 10:00 AM, while agreement letters are scheduled for November 2, 2026.
Candidates should rely on the official STI portal and their concerned school for recruitment updates rather than unofficial social media posts.
