The Jaecoo J5 BEV Premium Plus has arrived at PAPS 2026 as one of the more feature-packed electric crossovers targeting Pakistan’s growing EV market, bringing 207.8 hp, a 58.9 kWh battery, 130 kW fast charging, and a claimed 461 km NEDC range.
The electric crossover is also being introduced as a locally assembled EV in Pakistan, where the hybrid variants of the Jaecoo J5 are already available.
Battery, Motor and Performance
The J5 BEV Premium Plus uses a single front-mounted electric motor producing 155kW, or 207.8 hp, and 288Nm of torque.
Power is sent to the front wheels, while Jaecoo claims a 0–100 km/h time of 7.7 seconds.
Drivers can choose between Eco, Normal, and Sport drive modes.

Charging
The J5 BEV Premium Plus supports up to 11kW AC charging and 130kW DC fast charging.
Jaecoo says an 11kW charger is included with the vehicle.
It also supports 3.3kW Vehicle-to-Load, allowing compatible external electrical devices to draw power from the car’s battery.

Exterior
The J5 BEV Premium Plus uses an upright crossover design rather than the lower coupé-style shape seen on some newer EVs.
Exterior equipment includes LED headlights, automatic headlights, automatic high and low beams, LED daytime running lights, LED rear lamps and follow-me-home headlights.
It also gets frameless front and rear wipers, auto-speed-adjusting front wipers, electrically folding and heated exterior mirrors, roof rails, body-coloured door handles, a rear spoiler and an electric tailgate.
The Premium Plus rides on 18-inch wheels.
Another major feature is the 1.45-square-metre panoramic roof.

The J5 BEV Premium Plus rides on 18-inch wheels and uses an independent rear suspension.
Its actual ride quality and comfort will depend on suspension tuning and will need to be assessed on the road.
