Pakistan Rangers Punjab Announces New Jobs
Pakistan Rangers Punjab has announced 205 vacancies for Lady Rangers, religious teachers, cooks, sanitary workers, and other support staff.
Applications for most posts must reach the recruitment office by September 25, 2026. Lady Ranger candidates must report in person for registration from September 28 to October 2, 2026.
According to the advertisement, recruitment will follow merit and regional quotas. The posts range from BPS-01 to BPS-11.

The support trades include boatmen, barbers, carpenters, washermen, electricians, masons, plumbers, and painters.
Qualification Requirements
Religious Teacher applicants need Shahadat-ul-Alamiyah from an HEC-recognised institution, along with the required FA/FSc qualification.
Lady Ranger candidates must have passed Middle. Applicants with higher qualifications, a BSN qualification or a nursing diploma will receive preference.
Cook applicants must have passed Middle and know how to cook. The advertisement does not set an educational requirement for sanitary workers and the other support trades.
Age Limit and Physical Requirements
Candidates must be aged 18–30 years on September 28, 2026. This includes five years of government age relaxation.
The minimum height is 5 feet 6 inches for male Religious Teacher and Cook applicants, 5 feet 4 inches for Lady Rangers and 5 feet 3 inches for sanitary workers and other support trades. Taller candidates will receive preference.
Male candidates must have a chest measurement of 33 inches with 1½ inches of expansion. The advertisement lists a minimum weight of 121 pounds, or about 55 kg. Female candidates’ weight will follow BMI standards.
Merit and Regional Quotas
The advertisement allocates 7.5% of seats to open merit and 50% to Punjab, including Islamabad.
Sindh Urban has a 7.6% quota and Sindh Rural 11.4%. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including the merged tribal districts, has 14.5%, Balochistan 6%, Gilgit-Baltistan 1%, and Azad Kashmir 2%. The notice also reserves 5% of seats for minorities.
How to Apply for Lady Rangers Jobs
Lady Ranger candidates must visit Headquarters Desert Rangers, Bahawalpur, between September 28 and October 2, 2026.
They must bring their original documents, photocopies, and two postal envelopes carrying their complete address. Candidates should also bring PT shoes for the physical test.
How to Apply for Other Posts
Applicants for Religious Teacher, Cook, Sanitary Worker and other support posts must send their applications by post.
The application should include copies of the required documents and two self-addressed postal envelopes. Send it to Pakistan Rangers Punjab, Lahore Cantt, Post Box No. 6080.
Applications must arrive by September 25, 2026. The office will not consider late submissions.
Documents Required for Recruitment
Candidates must present their original educational certificates, domicile and NADRA-issued CNIC, along with two photocopies of each. They must also provide two attested passport-size photographs.
Educational documents must carry the required verification from the relevant board or university.
Government and semi-government employees must bring an original No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department head. They cannot participate without it.
Selection Process
Recruitment includes registration, an initial medical examination, physical assessment, a written test and an interview, where applicable.
Candidates who pass the initial stages will proceed to further assessment. Final selection will depend on merit and the requirements of the post.
Selected candidates will undergo a final medical examination at Pakistan Rangers Punjab Hospital, Lahore. They must pay for the required medical tests.
Who Cannot Apply?
The advertisement excludes candidates dismissed or removed from Pakistan Rangers or government service on disciplinary grounds, as well as those convicted by a court.
Other restrictions cover previous medical unfitness and removal from Rangers or the armed forces over forged documents or misconduct. Applicants must provide genuine documents and accurate information.
Pay and Other Conditions
Selected candidates will receive pay according to their post’s basic pay scale, along with applicable allowances.
Pakistan Rangers Punjab will not pay travel or daily allowances for recruitment. Candidates must arrange their own accommodation and meals during the process.
