IESCO Announces Power Shutdown Schedule for September 10
The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a scheduled power shutdown for Thursday, September 10, due to annual maintenance and construction work across several parts of its service region.
According to the shutdown schedules, electricity supply will be suspended for different durations in the Islamabad, Rawalpindi City, Rawalpindi Cantt, Attock, Chakwal and Jhelum operation circles.
Islamabad
Consumers in parts of the Islamabad Operation Circle will face scheduled power suspensions at different times, ranging from 5 a.m. to noon, 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Rawalpindi City
Different areas of the Rawalpindi City Operation Circle will experience outages during several scheduled windows, including 5 a.m. to noon, 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Rawalpindi Cantt
Power supply in parts of the Rawalpindi Cantt Operation Circle will remain suspended from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. A separate transmission-line maintenance activity is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon, with no area expected to be affected by that work.

Attock
The Attock Operation Circle will face scheduled outages at different times, including 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 6 a.m. to noon.

Chakwal
Power suspensions in the Chakwal Operation Circle are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Jhelum
Parts of the Jhelum Operation Circle will experience a scheduled power suspension from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m

IESCO said the shutdowns are being carried out for maintenance and construction work. The company has apologized to consumers for the temporary inconvenience.
