The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced the date sheet for the SSC Part I and II Second Annual Examination 2026.
According to the official schedule, the Federal Board matric exams will start on Thursday, September 24, 2026. The schedule covers SSC Part I and SSC Part II candidates, including students appearing in written papers and Practical-Based Assessment (PBA) exams.
FBISE issued the date sheet on September 1, 2026. Students can also check the schedule through the official FBISE date sheet section.
Candidates must report to their examination centres at 2:00 p.m. The evening papers will begin at 2:30 p.m. and end at 5:30 p.m.

Students should match the subject name and paper code with their roll number slips. This is important because the date sheet includes different schemes, old-course papers, HIC subjects and new-pattern papers.
FBISE SSC Part II Main Paper Dates
The SSC Part II examinations will begin on September 24 with Chemistry-II and General Mathematics-II.
After that, FBISE will hold Physics-II on September 26, followed by English-II on September 28. Islamiyat-II will take place on September 30, while Pakistan Studies-II is set for October 2.
Next, students will take Biology-II and Computer Science-II on October 6. Mathematics-II and General Science-II will follow on October 9. Finally, FBISE will conduct the Urdu-II paper on October 16.
FBISE SSC Part I Main Paper Dates
The SSC Part I examinations will begin on September 25 with Biology-I and Computer Science-I.
After that, FBISE will hold Chemistry-I on September 29, followed by Urdu-I on October 1. Translation of the Holy Quran-I and Islamiyat-I will take place on October 3, while English-I is set for October 5.
Next, students will take Physics-I on October 8 and Mathematics-I on October 12. Finally, FBISE will conduct Pakistan Studies-I and the relevant religious education papers on October 15.
FBISE Practical Exam Schedule 2026
The date sheet also includes several Practical-Based Assessment papers for Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science.
Meanwhile, FBISE has limited some PBA papers to failure and improvement candidates. These papers will last 45 minutes, as mentioned in the official date sheet.
However, the combined PBA papers for Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Computer Science will last two hours.
After these assessments, FBISE will begin practical exams for other subjects on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. The board will share separate details about the practical schedule and examination centres where needed.
Important Instructions for Candidates
Students must reach their examination centres by 2:00 p.m. The papers will start at 2:30 p.m., so candidates should arrive before the reporting time and follow the instructions on their roll number slips.
FBISE has strictly banned mobile phones, smartwatches and similar electronic devices inside examination centres.
For institutions located abroad, papers will begin according to the synchronized examination time already announced by the board.
