BISE Lahore 9th Class Result Gazette Released

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Lahore, has released the official 9th Class Result Gazette 2026. The SSC Part-I First Annual Examination result became available on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

According to the official result gazette, 280,676 candidates appeared in the examination. A total of 130,543 passed, producing an overall pass percentage of 46.51%.

BISE Lahore received 287,597 applications for the examination. The board conducted the written papers from April 17 to May 8, 2026.

The result covers regular and private candidates from Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura and Nankana Sahib. The 1,799-page PDF includes individual results, institution-wise records, subject statistics and group-wise performance.

Regular and Private Candidates’ Results

The gazette shows a clear difference between the performance of regular and private candidates.

A total of 180,264 regular students appeared in the examination. Of these, 96,566 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 53.57%.

Meanwhile, 100,412 private candidates appeared. A total of 33,977 passed, producing a success rate of 33.84%.

Female Candidates Record a Higher Pass Rate

Female students achieved a higher pass percentage than male students in the Lahore Board 9th Class Result 2026.

A total of 150,882 female candidates appeared, and 82,410 passed. Their pass percentage stood at 54.62%.

Among male candidates, 129,794 appeared and 48,133 passed. The male pass rate was 37.08%.

Science, Humanities and Technical Group Results

The Science Group included 203,844 candidates. Of these, 111,802 passed, taking the group’s pass percentage to 54.85%.

In the Humanities or Arts Group, 70,761 students appeared and 16,228 passed. The group recorded a pass percentage of 22.93%.

The Technical Group included 6,071 candidates. A total of 2,513 passed, producing a success rate of 41.39%.

Government and Private Institution Results

Among regular candidates studying at government institutions, 101,079 appeared and 40,409 passed. Their pass percentage stood at 39.98%.

Private affiliated institutions had 79,185 regular candidates. Of these, 56,157 passed, resulting in a pass rate of 70.92%.

These figures relate to regular students enrolled in government and private affiliated schools. They do not refer to candidates who applied privately.

Subject-Wise Pass Percentages

The gazette also provides separate performance figures for each subject.

Urdu recorded an overall pass percentage of 93.93%, while Translation of the Holy Quran stood at 94.03%. Islamiyat recorded 91.35%.

The overall pass percentage in English was 80.52%. Physics recorded 78.94%, Biology 73.84% and Chemistry 70.89%.

Mathematics had a pass percentage of 62.34%, while Computer Science and Entrepreneurship recorded 69.23%.

How to Download the BISE Lahore Gazette 2026

Students can download the result gazette through the official BISE Lahore website.

Visit home.biselahore.com and open the results or downloads section. Select the SSC Part-I First Annual Examination 2026 and download the gazette in PDF format.

The file contains 1,799 pages, so it may take some time to open on slower internet connections. Students should download and save it before searching for their results.

How to Search the Result in the Gazette

Open the downloaded PDF on a computer and press Ctrl + F. Enter the student’s complete roll number and press Enter.

The PDF reader will move to the matching result entry. Students should compare the displayed name and other information with their examination slip.

Mobile users can open the PDF in a reader application and select the find or search option from the menu.

Candidates can also search by name. However, searching by roll number is more reliable because several students may have the same name.

The gazette also provides institution-wise records. Schools can use these sections to check several results and review the number of candidates who appeared and passed.
